Return Policy Overview
This document outlines Allmand's policy and procedures for product returns. We aim to provide a clear understanding of how returns are processed.
Our Commitment
Allmand is committed to customer satisfaction. This policy details the conditions under which returns are accepted to ensure a fair process.
Return Eligibility
For a product to be eligible for return, the following conditions must be met:
- RGA Request: A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) must be requested from and approved by Allmand Customer Service before any product is returned. Returns sent without an RGA will not be accepted.
- Return Window: Once an RGA is approved, the product must be shipped and postmarked within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the RGA approval notification. Products returned after this 30-day period will not be accepted.
- Condition of Product: Products must be returned in their original, unused condition, complete with all original packaging, tags, and accessories. Products returned damaged, used, or with missing parts may not qualify for a full refund and may be subject to a restocking fee (details in the Refunds section).
- Item Verification: The product returned must be the exact item for which the RGA was issued and must match the product description on the RGA. Sending a different item will invalidate the return and refund.
How to Initiate a Return
Please follow these steps to initiate a return:
- Contact Customer Service: To request an RGA, please contact Allmand Customer Service at parts@allmand.com or (800) 562-1373. Provide your order number and the reason for your return.
- Receive Approval & RGA Number: Our team will review your request. If approved, you will receive an RGA number and instructions for returning your product.
- Ship Your Product: Securely package the item(s) and clearly mark the RGA number on the outside of the package. Ship the product to the Allmand address listed on your original invoice. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Allmand is not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged.
Refunds
This section explains how refunds are processed:
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, a credit will be issued to your customer account within 10 business days. This credit can be applied to the original invoice or, if that invoice is closed, to another open invoice on your account.
Important Refund Conditions:
- Restocking Fee for "No Longer Needed" Returns: If a product is returned in its original, unused condition but the reason for return is that it is "no longer needed" (or a similar reason not due to Allmand error or product defect), a restocking fee of 15% of the product's purchase price will be deducted from your account credit.
- Damaged or Used Products: Products returned damaged, used, or with incomplete parts may be subject to a higher restocking fee or may be deemed ineligible for a refund, at Allmand's discretion.
- Handling of Denied Returns: If a return is denied (e.g., item does not meet eligibility criteria, is a non-returnable item, or is not the item authorized under the RGA), the item will be held and made available for customer pickup for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the denial notification. The customer is responsible for arranging and bearing the cost of pickup. If the item is not picked up within this 30-day period, Allmand reserves the right to dispose of the item, and the customer will not be entitled to any compensation.
Non-Returnable Items
Please note that certain items are not eligible for return. These include, but are not limited to:
- Custom Color Parts
- Non-Current Parts
Shipping Costs for Return
Responsibility for return shipping costs is as follows:
- If the return is due to an error on Allmand's part (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item), Allmand will cover all shipping costs (both return shipping and original shipping costs). No restocking fee will apply in such instances.
- For all other returns, the customer is responsible for the costs of return shipping.
