They’re GReat! Our GR-Series Offers Low Acquisition Costs and High-Performance Value in One Flexible Package.

October 1, 2020 — Your job site needs a workhorse — one that outpowers, outperforms and outlasts the competition, helping you burn the midnight oil to get more work done. Our new Night-Lite™ GR-Series light towers are the ideal addition for smaller job sites and special events.

We spoke with Dave Jones, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, to learn exactly how the GR-Series offers low acquisition costs and high-performance value.

Q. What factors do you measure to determine high performance?

A. There are numerous ways to measure performance. For light towers, we’re interested in both the light technology used and the light footprint emitted.

We use four LED light fixtures that offer up to 350-watts per fixture. Compared to past products in this space, the GR-Series covers 38,610 ft2 vs. 19,526 ft2 — a 98% increase in light coverage. In addition, we’ve increased light brightness by 19% with 32,288 additional lumens. Our light footprint is second to none.

Q. How are these units more efficient than others on the market?

A. The first thing that comes to mind is its fuel efficiency. We’ve substantially extended the average runtime for these products — customers can get up to 257 hours of run time with the 250-watt LED model.

Plus, we’ve extended the service intervals to 1,000 hours, which is the highest in the industry.

Q. I’m sure that cuts costs, too. Do those factors contribute to the lower acquisition cost?

A. Absolutely. The improved service intervals result in less maintenance over time. Plus, better fuel efficiency automatically translates to additional cost savings. In fact, our GR-series light towers offer 12% better total cost of ownership than a leading competitor.

Q. How are the GR-Series units flexible?

A. We specifically designed them to be both flexible in application and simple in operation. One example is the vertical mast that extends to 23 feet and has a 359-degree rotation, offering flexible lighting options.

Incorporating the Deep Sea L401 controller allows for a whole new level of flexibility and efficiency. The 16 Event Scheduler is programmable to operate up to four load outputs. Plus, it’s configurable to run automatically between sunset and sunrise — meaning work can continue completely uninterrupted without having to worry about light.

Q. How else do they help on the job site?

A. The unit’s compact size makes it easier to load and unload from a truck. Plus, you can fit 20 units on a 48 foot flatbed, which helps streamline shipping costs.

Essentially, our Night-Lite™ GR-series light towers work longer, bigger and brighter so our customers can be out on the job site getting more work done whenever and wherever it's needed.
